Hi everybody,
Today we will show you the container house from Byron Bay, NSW – Australia.
Meet Jamie Smallwood, a man of basic tastes and delights who lives totally off the network in the segregated mountain rainforest region sitting above Byron Bay and the entirety of its greatness. Jamie is a planner in terms of professional career who centers around maintainability in his structure ventures at whatever point he can.
His own house is a brilliant illustration of this; everything is reused somehow or another. From the stacked, utilized shipping container structure, to the all around planned out house made of extra materials, the palette wood yard, lager barrel sauna, hempcrete dividers, to even his own DIY surfboard tremble (by forming odd shortboard shapes out of broken longboards), Jamie “releases none of the monster to squander” as it were.
I had the delight of meeting Jamie at his own special Fortress of Solitude on an ongoing excursion to Australia where we examined plan/assemble difficulties, the changing hippy culture of Byron Bay, and the experts and cons of an off-the-lattice way of life.
