Unique Shipping Container House Transformation Completed in 3 days from Ireland

Hi everybody

Today we will show you container house from Ireland.

Recently, we often share buildings built with multiple shipping containers. The project we will show you today is completed using 1x 40 FT shipping container.

We like projects that only use 40 FT or 20 FT shipping containers in their construction. Because there is really no limit to what you can do with multiple containers, it is really difficult to turn a single container into a magnificent one.

This container house in Ireland is one of the few projects that can achieve this. The exterior covering of the house and the large opening windows were magnificent.

1 x 40 FT Type 1A HC Container was used in the construction of the shipping container house, designed by Ceardean Architects.

The container house, completed in 3 days, is Ireland’s first shipping container house. The construction of the house, which took 3 days, was done by volunteers and started to be exhibited at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA).

Carol Tallon, who is in the project coordination team, said the following about the project:

After the collapse of the real estate market, a low-cost housing model was inevitable and this container project shows that new housing solutions are available to accommodate different lifestyle choices for Irish people.

You can find all the information on how this house was built in the free E-Book published by the manufacturer. E-Book Here
