Wooden Covered Container Observatory from Brazil

Hi everybody

We continue to discover for you. Our container house on today’s tour is from Balsa Nova, Brazil.

The container house that we will show you today is located in the Balsa Nova region of Brazil.
The Purunã Observatory was built in 38 days using two containers (a 12-meter container and a 6-meter container). The owner of the structure used the shipping containers as a structural solution for clean and economical construction.

There is a double room and beds in a 12 meter container, both of them equipped with sanitary equipment.
Inside the 6 meter container there is a special mechanism for the telescope. In front of this container is a concrete deck to fully see the sky with the machines.

The east, west and south facades of the container structure are covered with high quality pine tree plates.

This was the dream of a photographer who loved the building work and realized it. Now he can observe natural events from this structure.

Container structures are now beginning to appear in every aspect of our lives due to their ease of installation and economy. These projects are a preliminary indication that there will soon be structures with hundreds of shipping containers.
